Information you provide

When you contact us, request to be notified about an upcoming vehicle, or submit a financing application, you may provide:

• Identity information: name, date of birth, government-issued ID type and number, Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN);
• Contact information: home address, cell phone, home phone, work phone, email;
• Employment and income information: employer, job title, employment status, monthly income, length of employment;
• Residence information: residence type (own/rent/family), monthly rent or mortgage, length at current address;
• Vehicle preferences: vehicles you've viewed, favorited, or asked to be notified about; trade-in details if provided.

Information we collect automatically

When you visit the site we may automatically log:

• Technical metadata about your device and connection (IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL);
• Browsing activity (pages visited, vehicles viewed, time spent, clicks);
• Anonymized view-tracking counters tied to a per-session token (no personal identifiers attached);
• Functional cookies that keep your session, favorites list, and submission progress working — these do not track you across other sites.

• To process credit applications and obtain pre-approval decisions from lending partners;
• To communicate with you about vehicles, your application, service appointments, and related offers — by phone, SMS, or email, in accordance with the consent you provided;
• To respond to questions you submit through the Contact and Notify-Me forms;
• For internal analytics, business intelligence, and product improvement (which vehicles are popular, which marketing channels work, where the site has friction);
• To detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse of our site and forms;
• To comply with legal, regulatory, and tax obligations applicable to motor-vehicle dealers in Texas.

We do not sell your personal information. We do share it with the following categories of recipients only as described here:

• Lending partners and financial institutions — when you submit a financing application, we forward it to one or more lenders for the purpose of evaluating creditworthiness and structuring a vehicle loan.
• Consumer reporting agencies — including Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. By submitting a financing application you authorize us and our lenders to obtain your consumer credit report. Depending on the lender, this may be a soft inquiry (which does not affect your credit score) or a hard inquiry (which may affect your credit score).
• Affiliated dealerships — if applicable, we may share lead information with affiliated dealer locations under common ownership to better serve your inquiry.
• Service providers acting on our behalf — including Supabase (database and authentication infrastructure), Vercel (web hosting), Cloudflare (DNS, CDN, bot-protection), Apple MapKit (address autocomplete), and similar processors. These vendors are contractually limited to using your information only to provide services to us.
• Legal compliance and protection — if required by subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or if necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

We retain different categories of information for different periods, generally aligned with industry norms and regulatory requirements for motor-vehicle dealers:

• Financing applications: retained for at least seven (7) years, consistent with federal and state recordkeeping requirements for credit applications.
• Notify-Me inquiries: retained until you ask us to delete them or the underlying vehicle is no longer in our inventory pipeline, whichever is sooner.
• Anonymized view-tracking records: retained for approximately 30 days and then deleted by an automated job.
• Communications history: retained as long as necessary to service your account and comply with our obligations.

If you are a Texas resident (or are otherwise covered by state or federal privacy laws that grant similar rights), you may have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you;
• Request correction of inaccurate or outdated information;
• Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and regulatory recordkeeping requirements (for example, completed financing applications must be retained for seven years);
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time — reply STOP to any text message, click the unsubscribe link in marketing emails, or contact us directly;
• File a complaint with the Texas Attorney General's Office or another applicable supervisory authority.

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your information. All traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS (TLS). Our database enforces row-level security so that each dealer can only access its own customers' records. Access to systems containing personal information is restricted to authorized personnel.

No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure, please notify us immediately at kperalta@nexoautosales.com.

This site is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete it.
